Additionally, we explore the story of John Y. Brown, Jr.'s purchase of the company in 1964 and the company's transition into the global market. The interviews with Colonel Harland Sanders and John Y. Brown, Jr. are housed at the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History, University of Kentucky Libraries.
